The purpose of this position is to properly transfer all finished product in his/ her operation area, package it as directed by the material transfer sheet and order, while maintaining a clean and safe work area. This is an hourly, full-time, rotating shift position.
Under general supervision performs Quality Control tests as required by sampling instructions to evaluate all finished products. Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as necessary. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. The QC Lab Tech I will undergo training a minimum 2-6 weeks.
