  • And many more!

Our biggest celebration each year is the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration and parade. For more than 200 years, parade goers and participants have been lining the streets decked out in green at this friendly family affair.

If music is your scene, we have the perfect stage for you! The Savannah Music Festival puts on an unforgettable three-week long music event and offers one of the most distinctive cross-genre music festivals in the world. A haven for musicians, you’ll find live music seven nights a week throughout the region at bars and music venues such as Victory North, Blue Room, District Live, the Lucas Theatre and more.

The region is also home to the brand new EnMarket Arena which has musical acts like Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, The Lumineers, Janet Jackson, Megan Moroney, Widespread Panic, New Edition as well as comedy acts like John Mulaney and Kat Williams. And the kids (and hey us adults too) always love Disney performances, WWE wrestling and monster jams.

For history buffs, our region is a treasure trove of history, offering visitors a chance to step back in time as they explore its beautifully preserved architecture and iconic landmarks.

Wander through the Savannah historic district which is a history lesson upon itself. Savannah’s downtown is designed with 23 squares of grassy utopias and monuments. Immerse yourself in history by visiting sites like the famous Juliette Gordon Low House, birthplace of the Girl Scouts, the First African Baptist Church, the oldest Black congregation in America, and the hauntingly beautiful Bonaventure Cemetery, each telling a unique story of the past. Visit one of the best-preserved earthwork fortifications at Fort McAllister, the historical Dorchester Academy and the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, dedicated to preserving the history of aviation during World War II.

Ready to bowl a strike? Statesboro is home to The Clubhouse with bowing, arcade, golf carts and more or hit up Moodright’s Bar for some duck bowling.

And for those with a different to-do list, shopping is a must! The Savannah region is home to the Tanger Outlets featuring favorite brands as well as boutique and antique shopping.
